Genie — User policy

This document is the Genie user policy. It is shown in addition to our website terms and privacy policy.

Agreement

By downloading Genie, creating an account, and using the app you explicitly agree to all the terms in this user policy. This policy can be viewed any time from the Settings page in the app. We may update it from time to time — check back periodically.

Content ownership

All content you generate with Genie is yours. You may share, copy, or edit that content for private or commercial use, as long as you do not use Genie to violate the other terms in this policy.

Prohibited content

Genie helps you create high-quality text quickly and supports creativity and productivity.

We require all users to follow these rules. You must not use Genie to generate harmful, discriminatory, or otherwise unacceptable content as described below.

We use both automatic and manual moderation. Repeated violations may result in permanent account suspension. Purchased credits are not refunded if an account is suspended for policy breaches. If you believe your account was blocked in error, contact us.

• Hate: Content that expresses, incites, or promotes hate based on identity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or religious belief.
• Harassment: Content meant to harass, threaten, or bully individuals, minority groups, or others.
• Violence: Content that promotes or glorifies violence or celebrates the suffering or humiliation of others.
• Self-harm: Content that promotes, encourages, or depicts self-harm such as suicide, self-injury, or eating disorders.
• Sexual: Content intended primarily to arouse sexual excitement, including explicit descriptions of sexual activity or promotion of sexual services (excluding sex education and general wellness).
• Political: Content intended to influence the political process or to be used for campaigning purposes.
• Spam: Unsolicited bulk or repetitive content.
• Deception: Content that is false or misleading, including attempts to defraud others or spread disinformation.
• Malware: Content that attempts to produce ransomware, keyloggers, viruses, or other harmful software.
