The problem
The problem Orange Pods solves
AirPods pair with Android, but the useful controls stay on iPhone: battery for each bud and the case, noise modes, and whether a bud is in your ear.
Orange Pods is built to surface those controls on Android. It is not on Google Play yet. The Android package name is orangepods.airpods.on.android.
How it works
What is planned
Noise control
Switch noise modes from Android on supported AirPods.
Ear detection
Pause and resume when you take a bud out or put it back in.
Android-first
Designed for the phone you already carry, not as a side feature of a desktop app.
On device
Status stays on the phone. Orange Pods does not need an account to show pod state.
When to use it
When you would use it
- You use AirPods with an Android phone and want battery without borrowing an iPhone.
- You want noise control from the notification shade or the app.
- You want playback to follow whether a bud is in your ear.
- You want one Appfinity app for AirPods instead of a pile of half-working tools.
Who it's for
A good fit if you...
- Use AirPods with Android as your daily phone.
- Want battery, noise control, and ear detection in one place.
- Prefer a focused app over a generic Bluetooth menu.
- Are fine waiting for the Play listing before installing.
