Genie - User Policy

Agreement

By downloading Genie, creating an account and using the app you explicitly agree to all the terms in this user policy. This user policy can be viewed any time from the Settings page in the app. We will update this policy from time to time so consult frequently.

Content ownership

All the content you generated with Genie is exclusively yours. You have full ownership and can share, copy, edit the content in any shape or form. Both for private and commercial use. As long as it does not not violate the other terms in this policy.

Prohibited content

Genie is an app that helps users to quickly create high quality textual content. It provides a boost for your creativity and productivity.

We do however have some ground rules that all users need to follow. This means it is explicitly not allowed to generate harmful, racist, sexist or any other form of controversial content. This is described in more detail below.

Our app has both automatic and manual moderation to make sure all users comply with this policy. In case of repeated violation of these rules your account will be permanently blocked. If your account gets blocked your purchased credits will not be refunded. If you feel your account has be blocked incorrectly, contact us.

Hate: Content that expresses, incites, or promotes hate based on identity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation or religious beliefs
Harassment: Content that intends to harass, threaten, or bully an individual, minority groups or other entities
Violence: Content that promotes or glorifies violence or celebrates the suffering or humiliation of others
Self-harm: Content that promotes, encourages, or depicts acts of self-harm, such as suicide, cutting, and eating disorders
Sexual: Content meant to arouse sexual excitement, such as the description of sexual activity, or that promotes sexual services (excluding sex education and wellness)
Political: Content attempting to influence the political process or to be used for campaigning purposes
Spam: Unsolicited bulk content
Deception: Content that is false or misleading, such as attempting to defraud individuals or spread disinformation
Malware: Content that attempts to generate ransomware, keyloggers, viruses, or other software intended to impose some level of harm
