Pixel sometimes ships with the second line disabled after a reset. If Hush only sees one SIM, re-enable the second line before configuring rules.

Step 1: Label SIMs in Android

Open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs. Rename slots (for example “Work” and “Personal”). Note which slot is which — Hush will mirror these labels.

Step 2: Match lines in Hush

Open Hush → SIM setup. Confirm work vs personal for each slot. Rules you create next attach to the SIM identity, not your location, so travel does not break schedules.

Step 3: Add work-hours rule on the work SIM

Create a rule on the work SIM:

Weekdays: quiet from 19:00 to 08:00 (adjust to your real stop time)
Weekends: optional full-day quiet if your role is Mon–Fri only

Choose whether blocked calls go to voicemail or are declined. Voicemail is usually better for legitimate work callers.

Step 4: Allowlist true emergencies

Add three to five contacts who may ring through on the work line during quiet hours — direct manager, on-call partner, one family contact if they use your work number.

Step 5: Pixel battery settings

Pixel’s Adaptive Battery can delay background work. Open Settings → Apps → Hush → Battery and set Unrestricted (wording varies by Android version). This prevents missed rule triggers overnight.

Common Pixel issues

eSIM not visible in Hush. Enable the eSIM line in SIM settings, reboot once, reopen Hush.

Work calls still show heads-up notifications. In Hush, enable notification suppression for the work SIM during the rule, not ringtone-only blocking.

Rules fire an hour late after travel. Schedules follow local time on the device; check timezone auto-update is on.
